Configure Cursor to use ScaleLLM and access Claude 4.5, Gemini 3, and more with a single API key.

Open Cursor Settings

Press Cmd+, (Mac) or Ctrl+, (Windows/Linux)

Go to Models

Navigate to the Models or AI settings section

Add Custom Model

Configure a new model with these settings:

You can use any of these model names in Cursor: 
claude-opus-4.5          # Complex tasks

Troubleshooting

Make sure the base URL is exactly https://api.scalellm.dev/v1 (no trailing slash).
Check your API key starts with sk_ and is active in your dashboard.
Try claude-haiku-4.5 or gemini-3-flash for faster responses.
